Welcome Back from Summer Vacation
We hope everybody had a wonderful summer vacation and we welcome you back to the 2015-2016 school year.
This is the first of our weekly newsletters for the year. We try hard to ensure that we don't overload your
e-mail box with too much mail. Within these e-mails, we try to put the most important information in the section
you are reading right now. Upcoming events are to the right on the page and normally include the current week plus
the next few weeks. Events and announcements that might hang around a bit longer in the newsletter are put below
the "Featured Events and Announcements" section, so you don't need to read that every time. Finally, at the
bottom of the newsletter you'll find links to resources.
As the mission of FoAEA is to support essential programs like music, art, PE, science, field trips, assemblies, and
more, at the top of the newsletter you'll find links that help us fundraise for these programs. We utilize this newsletter
to first inform the AEA parents of upcoming events and second to ask for your financial support. We recognize that
asking for money can be uncomfortable, but it does go to a very good cause: our kids.
On behalf of the entire FoAEA board and the students at AEA whom we support, we want you to know that we
greatly appreciate your support financially and your time when you
volunteer. More information about FoAEA, our mission, and the details of what we do can be found on our
website foaea.org and also in our
